Taking place about 6 months after the end of book 1, the human world is reeling after the revelations from the past Halloween. Hi! I'm Nicole Gaudette. I started reading at 4 (and loved it), writing at 7 (poetry to start), wrote my first book at 9 (I'm sure it was terrible), adored Matilda as a child (it got me into fantasy), and can't get enough of vampires, werewolves, or witches (I'm team Lestat).

I absolutely adore Arthurian Legend, and The Once & Future King is one of my favorite books (Lancelot is so perfect). I had the idea for Long Live the King in my head for almost a decade before writing it. And here we are!
